House Bathed in Sunlight
Oil on Linen, 36" x 24", 1991

This painting was to display a very simple image of beauty. I was working with very flat areas of color here. The late afternoon sunlight was very intense and dominated the subject itself. I was also fascinated by how the rocks could mirror the curve of the hill.
