Paris Rooftops
Oil on linen, 36" x 48", 2010

Morning in Paris, near the Arc de Triomphe.  I wanted to capture something of the light and shadows and what seemed like an infinite display of rooftops.  Blue is the dominant color, punctuated by the repeated reds of the chimneys.
