Village Crossroads

The Village. An interesting composition of figures going in different directions but converging in the middle, toward a man in the foreground, facing us, lighting up. There are several different spaces here. The foreground scene in the middle, the left street scene, the right, where a lone figure sits on a stoop, and the inside cafe. The whole scene is dominated by the green of the building and the shape of the light and shadows falling on it.
